MY 2017 GOALS

1. Organization 

  • Track how I use my time
  • Figure out how each elements, especially less productive ones, fit best in my day
  • Develop and abide by my own daily/weekly schedule
  • De-clutter and reorganize my space
  • Start a bullet journal

2. Finance

  • Develop and regularly update short- and mid-term financial plan
  • Allocate at least 45% of my earning into personal, travel and wedding saving 

3. Reading

  • Read and finish at least 1 new book every month
  • Alternate between fiction and non-fiction every month 
  • Read at least 1 Haruki Murakami 
  • Track my progress in Goodreads

4. Writing

  • Keep a list of writing ideas and intriguing thoughts 
  • Write at least 1 blog post every two weeks 
  • Dedicate one month for “blogging every week”
  • Enroll in a poetry workshop 
  • Start a journal

5. New Skills

  • Have at least two 1-hour Korean learning sessions a week 
  • Learn to cook 1 new recipe every month 
  • Master driving and get a driver’s license
  • Learn analog photography
  • Learn phone videography
  • Join Toastmasters

6. Fitness, Health and Wellness

  • Exercise at least twice a week 
  • Get my eyes checked (it’s been years since the last check-up!)
  • Terminate my gym membership

7. Style 

  • Review and redo my wardrobe
  • Stick to key style items when shopping new clothes

8. Work 

  • Continuously endeavor to find meaning in whatever I do
  • Develop a habit of more effective networking
  • Participate in pro-bono projects

9. Soul

  • Identify a cause (or more) and start volunteering
  • Make regular charity contributions
  • Spend time to expand my artistic repertoire
  • See the world in more interesting ways

10. Relationship

  • Make a birthday calendar of friends’ and family’s and do better in celebrating the days with them
